Providential Mentoring (PM) is a non-profit (501 c3) organization created to help the community of Gros Marin, Haiti. We are driven by LOVE to provide OPPORTUNITY for students with POTENTIAL.

Our organization’s name – Providential Mentoring for Gros Marin – recognizes the role of both God and man in helping Haitian students become leaders.

Providential: involving divine foresight or intervention.

“It was providential that he/she should be here now.”

Mentoring: Offering guidance and direction from a trusted counselor or guide.

“The student sought a mentor.”

We use the word mentor for anyone who is a positive, guiding influence in another (usually younger) person’s life. The best mentor is one who is guided by Providence.
